I am a Musician
By Rena Niko, Katie Grey, and Hannah
Ieywan, Tokyo, Japan
I am a musician. I lift my cello to rest
against my shoulder and my bow rises to the thickest, lowest string. A long,
deep, note hovers in the air for a moment, than fades off. I love my dark,
shiny, wood instrument. I love my Cello.

Katie Grey
I am a musician. My ½ size violin sings
out to me as I draw my bow across the E string. Then my bow whips across the D
string. The note G, than A, tremble in the air, than waver off. I love my
cinnamon colored, polished, music maker. I love my violin.

Niko
I am a musician. I find middle C on the
vast grand piano and start a Bach piece. I sway to the music of my piano,
pounding on the keys. The piece ends, all too soon. But, I lift up the top of
the piano, and begin Vivaldi. Now, I can watch the strings of the piano move to
the music, as if a invisible person was swinging them back and forth. I love my
shining, majestic, black string-percussion singer. I love my piano.

Sports Flash
The pats are
starting their season and they are off to a good start. I will be keeping track of how many games we
win and lose. So far we've been doing very well.
Speaking of good let’s talk about the Red Sox. They've been doing well-awesome! I like our coach this year. I hope we
keep him! I didn't think Bobby Valentin would last long. It’s sad but their
season is coming to an end.
In towns fall ball, also known as base-
ball in the fall, fall softball and field hockey. So has hockey, and basketball
is coming soon. Fall soft ball, to be
exact.
Hope you play a sport: they’re really fun!
See you next time on:
Sports Flash!
And More! So, remember to look at this blog at the END OF OCTOBER!
